I binged today. not as bad as I used to. but definitely a binge. it’s all healthy food, which is the weird thing. well okay that’s not true.. the cookies were not. it started out as my just being really hungry, but I took it too far. I need meals to prevent that.

I was totally going to make this. Then I said to myself, “No, Mary will make it. She’s better to spearhead this anyway.” Sure enough… <3 you.

Anonymous asked: Making yourself a "better" person is all well and good, but that shouldn't include losing weight. You are a beautiful, wonderful person.

Well thank you! I’m sure you are as well. Losing weight is a symptom of things going well: not binging, exercising, not thinking about food food food all the time. I want this is my life and when I make these accomplishments I’ll lose weight. That’s the only right way to do it

I used to be so motivated to work out, it was fun actually. now it just feels like a punishment and I end up on tumblr or playing sudoku for hours.

the one positive is that I’m not binging right now. I was snacking so I had a salad and some toast and then I stopped. instead of eating unending calories because I didn’t want to get a meal I just had something filling and basically healthy.

I guess I should be doing that with exercise. I want it to be fun again

What you eat today has to make your heart beat tomorrow and ….

…. create new blood, renew your bone marrow, fuel your brain, ease your mind, make your lungs work, support your immune system, heal your skin (including that tattoo you had done yesterday), keep your digestive system working smoothly, lubricate your joints, repair and build your muscles, ………

What will you eat to do all that?
